If you need to return an item bought on this site for any reason(*), we will happily refund the purchase or exchange the item for something else
If you have purchased from us online the wrong size, colour, design, or changed your mind, you can return the item to us if reasonable care of the goods has been taken in accordance with Trading Standard guidelines. We will exchange or refund the item as required. Notice of the return must be received within seven days after the day after receipt of the item. The buyer is responsible for the original and return postage costs for remorse or wrongly ordered returns. Please contact us first via email or telephone for return details.
If you have visited our stand at a show and wish to return a product, we will happily exchange it for another item on our site, as long as the consumer has taken ‘reasonable care’ of the product before return. We will not offer a refund for in person returns IAW Trading Standards guidance. Notice of return must be within seven days of purchase. Proof of purchase may be asked for. The new item will be offered at the web site price, which may be different from the price on the stand. ALL ‘Sale’ items are non refundable. The buyer is responsible for any extra costs such as postage.
Always contact us first before returning an item for any reason –
The buyer must have taken ‘reasonable care’ of the product before return. Any original packing and labels are to be included with the return where ever possible.
Notice of the exchange must be received within seven days after the day after receipt of the item.
When an exchange of product is required, the buyer will be asked to pay for postage to receive the exchanged item.
Faulty or damaged goods must be notified within seven days after the day after receipt of the order. A full refund or exchange will be given. The faulty or damaged item will need to be returned to us, the final assessment will be made by Dogs & Co. If the item is indeed faulty or damaged (not including dog chewing, clawing, biting or unreasonable wear & tear due to misuse of the item) we will refund all costs incurred (postage refunded to a maximum of £3.99, proof of cost must be provided). We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on handmade & made to order items. The buyer will be made aware of this at point of purchase.
We recommend that all returns are sent with at least Proof of Postage which is available for free from the Post Office, or tracking number. Dogs & Co will not refund or exchange an item until it is received by us. The onus is on the sender to provide proof of return if required.
IAW trading standards, refunds will be issued within 15 days of receipt of the returned item unless the return is disputed.
All items bought on other shopping channels (i.e. ebay / Amazon etc) must be returned via their own returns policy.
None of these policies effect your online purchasing rights IAW trading standards.
All refunds & exchanges are at the discretion of Dogs & Co.
